    I realise you're a bit new to this, but over the years I have learnt
    that the tarmac is *always* harder than I am. Of course, you started
    in motocross, where I guess the ground can be a bit more forgiving.

    I'm just an optimist and like to prepare with an appropriately

    I mean just bung an empty extension lead into either of the sockets,
    that way you can't accidentally plug the wrong thing in.

    Better still, why not put a headphone extension lead in, and leave it on
    the desk.

    The HDs still ok, but it's now eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new m/b
    for the frontline box which will in turn surrender its own m/b to the
    backup one. The knock-on system works, in that eventually the really old
    and shite stuff is pushed out of the rear window.
