Hardly a new one. Everyone following me to Chimay this year was
expecting me to crash when the wind pushed the Tenere sideways across
the motorway every couple of minutes.

Aren't you supposed to be getting your mong hands chopped up today?

Yes, and I and many others have experienced the same on various TOG
Tours but how many people have *actually* used that as an excuse for a
    real bin?

I'm currently recovering from surgery watching cricket and posting to
    ukrm.

Surgery fixed my hands (well, maybe) but nothing can fix your flaws.

Thankfully I have the flaw of thinking there's nothing wrong with me, so
as long as that remains I'll be just fine.

    Glad it went ok.

    Cheers.

The hospital staff are obviously a bunch of comedians because they
left a packet of biscuits with my afternoon tea but my hand's in
plaster to beyond my fingertips so opening the biscuits was an epic.

    Where's the fucking webcam?

I'd sooner the game was rained off so neither of them could win.
Yeah, it'd have been funny if they'd chopped them off so I could stick
them down making whatever gesture I felt was suitable.
