I've been wearing a Breitling Chronometre Aerospace titanium for 9 years. A brilliant piece of kit that has (uniquely) lasted the course. I was in an Emporium in Belfast today and had occasion to man handle the latest incarnation of same. My gob was well and truly smacked. I believe my arm was actually lighter wearing the watch than without, by some quirk of Alien Physics. Amazingly light and well crafted timepiece, compared directly to the best offered by Tag, Rolex, Omega et all. Do people actually like watches that weigh half a kilo?
I've sort of got into vintage watches of late. Not silly money stuff but my current fav is a 1952 Bulova gold filled thing. Lovely it is, keeps good time, is 'tiny' compared to modern watches but just feels so nice to wear. I'm not a fan of jewelry only wearing wedding band and my dads signet ring which I got when he died. Its light, good looking and feels nice. Plus Siobhan loves that fact that it actually 'tic-tocks' properly!
