Well, this morning the PC was round and stayed a total of 15 minutes despite
    me offering tea and coffee.

I simply stuck to my story that i remember basically bugger all and ....
well that's it really. I had a feeling he was fishing for other information,
ie where had i come from and what about that they couldn't find an L plate
on the scooter which i basically evaded politely through repetition of
memory scrambled and of course there were L plates, in fact half a ripped
one was in the toolbox of the scoot when i had it collected from the
    recovery lot....
so one caution that i may be charged and off he went, nice bloke.

onto other matters and i want a motorcycle hydraulic bench at a reasonable
price. cheapest i can see is £229 including delivery but didn't know if
anyone here might know of a better price or have any recommendations, other
than build my own, honestly, i cant be arsed with the hassle. Also, i want
to crack on rebuilding the Lambretta over the winter and play with the
    compressor + sandblasting kettle :)

Oh, and reaching for the loaf today i find that using brown bread does not
    make nice french toast :-(
