As Honda redefine the word "courtesy", as in "courtesy car".

A young lad drove into the side of Lisa's car the other week smashing up the
drivers door and putting a crease in the sill of her car , so it was off to
Honda for a week to be repaired and she'd arranged a courtesy car with the
    garage.

What she got was a 1.1 Peugeot 206 because, according to the Honda bloke,
Honda's are "too expensive" to give out as courtesy cars.

The last two people to have this particular car as their courtesy vehicle
were the British chain-smoking champion and his passenger, a keen, but not
too clean, mud-wrestler. We know this because apparently it's too expensive
to clean courtesy vehicles when they go from one customer to another. That
said they could have recouped some money by selling the potatoes growing in
    the dirt on the bodywork.

Apparently it's also too expensive to leave courtesy cars with more than the
merest drop of fuel in (fuel light on and needle below the bottom of the
gauge), and, given the flashing display when you start it up, servicing them
is right out of the question.

All of this wouldn't be too bad except when Lisa booked the car in she was
asked if she wanted a 206 or a Citroen C3 as a courtesy car and told them
she wanted a C3 because the 206 would be too small for her (it's a pain
getting a small child strapped in the back of a 3 door car), but she took
the 206 this morning because she didn't want to make a fuss.

Lisa was secretly hoping that the bodyshop might valet her car before they
give it back to her, but this morning's drive kind of killed that hope
    stone-dead.

Top tip... When you take your car to a panel shop, make sure that it
is really clean inside (and outside too, if pos.) as you then are in a
position to ask them to clean any dust/mud/dirt remains...
Our credo is to return any vehicle at least as clean as when it came
in... As with any professional 'shop...
