  2. Just as a matter of interest, I posed the cruise-control/throttle lock
question/scenario to Qld Transport at about the time that it was first
raised here. Since then, I've followed up with two more queries
regarding the status of the original enquiry.

Believe it or not - I have yet to receive an answer or even an
acknowledgment other than a bot-generated "thank you for your enquiry"
    type message.

I guess they must be too busy saving our lives with this mail-out eh Peter?

I thought he was holding the engine-end of the throttle cable with his
    right foot.

Was that email or snail mail.
My guess is that they can claim not to have received email, but snail
mail gets entered on files so they gotta do something (even if its to
    lose the [paper ;-( ).

  6. Twas email. I reckon it's in the too hard basket, same as the question I
asked about riding in NSW with a Qld learner's. Is the Qld learner
restricted to the NSW 80 kph for learners, and can the Qld learner then
ride without being accompanied by an experienced licenced rider (as they
can in NSW)? Never got an answer that could be parsed out to make sense
from that, from either Qld Transport or NSW DoT.

I think people see questions like that, and think "run away. run away'.
