My eldest (aged 29) and I have a similar sick sense of humour, but at
times we both go a little too far and gross the other one out.

Caz has recently split from her bloke after 12 years together and we
were having a dad - daughter chat about it tonight and along the way
she was asking for my advice about things; Conversation went something
    like this;

    Me: I don't know why you're asking me for advice, I can't keep a
girlfriend for as long as it takes me to get the ferrets and tubes into
    the bedroom.

Caz: Ferrets? Dad, that's a gay thing and they use gerbils and the
    tubes from their cages.

Me: Really? I could have sworn someone said ferrets. Oh never mind.

Caz: You are kidding me, right?

Me: No, I'm not. Can you do me a favour - when you see her next, say
sorry to your mum from me please.

Caz: Ewww! There are times when I really don't know if you're being
serious or not, and this is one of those times when I just don't want
    to know.

    Click.... buuuuurrrrrrr

    <puts on innocent look>

What did do? What did I say wrong?

  2. Love it :)

The one that usually gets me into trouble is when I ask a young
girlfriend "Is your mum cute too?" 90% of the time I get a smack
    around the head :)

If I'm chatting up a girl and they say "You're old enough to be my dad"
I always look them up and down seriously and respond with "Maybe I am.
    What's your mum's name?"

  7. Totally with that theory. The first girlfriend after my marriage ended
was 6 years older than me and a grandmother. But **** she was hot.
    Owwww.

Nothing like lots of years experience in bed.

  9. Not quite a mother-in-law but my ex girlfriend who has been staying
here in Sydney with me for the last 2 weeks.

2 years ago (she was 19 back then) I was at her parent's place and her
mum says "How old ARE you Kevin?" I told her 48. "Ok so a couple of
years older than me". Later she asked whether I wanted to stay there
the night rather having to get home and then get back to work the next
    day.

WTF? You have just worked out I am older than you and you don't have a
problem with me going to bed with your 19 old daughter in the bedroom
next to you? I suppose she knew we had been going out for a while
    anyway.

Weird situation. I told Daneeka there would be no funny business and
we just go to bed and go to sleep. Thankfully mum and her boyfriend
had left the house when Daneeka and I got up.

    Just felt sooooo wrong.

Had 3 situations in Sydney CBD with her on Friday where shopkeepers
and the like said, "So this is your dad then?" "No, we're just
    friends"
