Absinthe makes the fart go Honda.

I've done considerable amounts of it, and never had any hangover I'd
describe as out of the ordinary - nor any out-of-body experiences,
come to that. Tastes nice, gets you pissed - my sort of booze.

 

I enjoy it. Moreso, as it's strictly speaking, illegal in France.
However, even a snifter of the drink does some real damage to my liver
(as I go all jaundiced, until it's out of my system)

 

Heh, I bought Marina a bottle of this for christmas... It was the
cheapest fortified wine I could find...

Absinthe apparently contains wormwood, which is meant to be poisonous
in anything other than small quantities... Do you really want to drink
large amounts of a mild poison? It also tatses horrible...

Niether does modern Absinthe - or at least most of the brands don't.
You can still get the proper stuff if you look.

Prolonged use of wormwood does very nasty things to your brain though!
