HI yes ive tried them and quite a few others, still waiting for replys from a
few other places. May have to resort to getting it patched and resprayed,
all the hassle for a small hole near the fuel sender unit. Or fit an
alternative if i can find one to fit.

If it's a small area of pinholes then what I did was to (empty tank 1st!)
rub down the area where the holes are, to give the filler something to grip
to. Then I filled holes using chemical metal. It's petrol and oil resistant
and goes off fooking hard, making it very hard to sand smooth. Let the 1st
lot dry till solid, then mix up another splodge and put it over the 1st bit.
After that cover it in rustcure/hammerite/whatever. It isnt pretty, but
wtf - no one will see the underside of your tank! My gsx250's tank never
    leaked again after that!

Chemical metal - a close second to gaffa tape as bodge of all time ;-)

    Oooh! Harsh, very harsh!. (1)

    (1) says he looking in the cupboard for a tin tray. (2)
    (2) finding one, and realising that his lardy arse will *never* stay on it
long enough to 'sledge; down the road.

  10. Better in the long run to get a new unit, if it's (say) under 150 quid.
