'O' ring in the oil filter cover

    Hi,

I replaced the 'O' ring in the oil filter cover (Suzuki GZ125) with a brand
new one but found the groove (holding the 'O' ring) is wider than the
thickness of the 'O' ring. This has resulted the engine oil leaks when the
bike travels. Any idea how to solve this problem?

    Thanks in advance,
    YC

Get the right O-ring. That'd be the best way to do it.

Also, make sure that the cover is tightened properly - tighten the
bolts loosely at first, in a "star pattern" as you bring up the torque
in several steps. If you just honk down on the first one, you'll
probably have a gap by the time you get to the last one.
