I cannot think of any real job that I would actually enjoy, (and am
capable of doing). My current job isn't totally unsatisfying but I
wouldn't be doing it if I didn't need the money.

I don't have to believe anything, if the audience believe that I believe
    it.

Moving to somewhere I'd enjoy to be, with pleasant weather and the
associated lifestyle changes , yes. But for the sake of 100 miles down
the road it's barely worth the hassle of selling the house, I'd probably
do long commutes, as I have for the past 6 or 7 years.

I think I see the problem here...

Your email would, of course, be an absolute and total waste of valuable
typing time. You could spend it more profitably updating your CV.

Oh it's part of the exit routine, for sure..

There are about 4 more layers ofmanagement above the dude I mention, but
they control multiple diisions around Europe and would care not at all
for things at a lower level.

An example of the folks I work with:

"It's all very well you creating Access queries, lookups and exception
reports, and stuff, but all they're really doing is duplicating our
    manual checks, aren't they?"

I tend to deny all ability to do what they're asking, and then do it
    anyway while they're not looking.

That way the PM's life is hell, and everyone else is delighted. Which
is as near to perfection as my working environment can get ;)

  17. A well screwed together one goes for a bit more though? Maybe two
ferrets and a case of rickets?

  18. But it'll do 140mph for about 2miles, then allowing for the shite
brakes, another 10 miles to come to a halt - then a simple rebuild on a
parallel twin - I could get it home in about 3 weeks.
