Go visit the vampires and be in the draw for a pass to the Superbikes!

The first two weeks of the 2007/08 Summer Blood Challenge are now in
and the police have taken an early lead.

The tally now stands at:
Police 197
Motorcyclists 176

The motorcyclists and Police Force have joined forces and generated a
total of 373 donations just two weeks into the Challenge. As each
blood donation can help save 3 lives, this means that the Challenge so
far has potentially helped around 1,119 lives. This means we have only
8,881 lives to save, until we reach the 100,000th life saved by the
challenge.

We are pleased to announce The Reece Bancell Memorial Foundation has
kindly donated a three day double pass, to the 2008 Phillip Island
World Superbike Championship. By presenting to donate and filling out
a registration form, you can not only go into the draw to win this
wonderful prize, but you will also have the chance to win one of three
Harley Davidson rides courtesy of Bikescape Tours and Rentals.

 

I went yesterday but they're not giving prizes in WA.

So suggest they do so Start your own blood challenge. After all
thinking of something humiliating and photogenic to do the boss copper
is part of the fun of winning...

can't you just donate locally then ring the Melbourne BB and ask them to
add you to the count ?

Looks like the Vic Red Cross are about as organised as the Vix MRA.
THere's a bunch of bods in country NSW who donate for the challenge,
seem to have no problems.
