NSW/SYD: banning colours

And there you go with the assumptions again...really, you should try
actually thinking for once, rather than relying on nothing more than
assumptions to make and carry your case. :)
So? The fact that there may exist certain avenues to pursue claims over
unjust calls does nothing in this case, under the rules as presently
understood, to prevent such injustices from occurring in the first
place. It's one thing to target a group that deserves it, but it's
another thing to knowingly also target innocents in the process, as this
rule has considerable potential to do. The problem is not the intent of
the ban, but the manner of its application and enforcement, although you
seem to have considerable difficulty grasping this difference.
As compared to you? ROFL, pot to kettle, clean-up in aisle nine!

Maybe, but compared to you I'm the reincarnation of Einstein himself.
The rules may have been laid out in such a manner, but that's not the
problem, as you would well know if you weren't so downright dishonest.

The problem is not the rules per se, but the APPLICATION of the rules,
which in this instance will be done by bouncers who wouldn't know true
    bikie from their own arsehole.

Just because you call me "hysterical" or an "idiot" in every post
doesn't make in true, in case you weren't aware. Such sensationalist
claims hardly do your own case much good.

Yeah I'd be very curious to know that one too. If it's the former then
it's a bigger issue, because then pubs who ARE willing to have OMCGs
as customer may be prevented from doing so if the cops attempt to push
this out across the entire state's licencing laws. I have a real issue
with that. If it's the latter then I can't see any real issue (aside
from the likelihood of my insurance premiums going up to pay for the 4
new pubs that will need to be built in Parramatta.

It must be almost time for an Ausmoto dinner, and Parramatta is the
geographic centre of Sydney, how about dinner at the Royal Oak guys ?

I didn't say they SEEM to be idiots. I said they ARE idiots.

    There's quite a difference. :)

hmmm. Sounds very convenient, don't you think? Not all that surprising
    though, but convenient.

I have been riding motorcycles for 35 years and have never noticed any
discrimination against me or those I am riding with, although I have never
worn "Cut Off's" or pretended to be a "Bad-Ass" I tend to do a lot of long
trips and regularly stay in Motels and Pubs, generally the staff have been
very welcolming. Perhaps it is in the way my travelling companions and I
approach those staff that makes the difference.

They don't, no, but they are a 3-patch club.

Maybe it is the places you go to.

I don't think me on my Pantah in my blue leathers and Neil on his
Laverday in his black leathers who did no more than walk in and say
"beer thanks mate" were really doing anything different to you.

Nor was me in my Belstaffs turning up to a booked caravan park on my
GPz250 doing more than saying "Hi, my name's Johnstone, I'm booked in
for tonight, where do I park?"

Why? Because I'm not actually that scary, and never get those sort of
looks when I'm wearing non-riding gear. For whatever reason, it is the
gear that determines whether people see me as just another shopper or as
some unspecified threat. If that's what a dri-rider can inspire, then
what about a leather jacket with unfamiliar (but non-gang) patches
    covering it???

You keep going on and on about this, but it's not Joe Public who will be
doing the scrutinizing, it's whoever is controlling entry to the
premises in question... and if they can't identify who is and who is not
a patch wearing club member in question, how do you explain the fact
that they've already identified 15 specific patch wearing clubs to
    single out?

A difference in perception, not necessarily in reality.

It isn't just patches. It is, as far as can be determined, any
    "regalia" associated with the club.

Such as someone with a Big Red Machine t-shirt.

Whether someone wearing such a shirt is a club member, or liable to
fight another punter is not guaranteed.

Dunno why anyone should get their nickers in a knot over how an innocent
motorcyclist could be mistaken for a gang member.
A simple check of the carpark would determine their credentials...are they
riding a motorcycle or a HD?

    do with it ? :)

Perhaps, although there was this one time the Valet Parking at the Hilton
    wasn't up to scratch.

A dri-Rider is very "Down Market", perhaps you should upgrade to Dianese or
    Alpinestar gear!

Some of the local Veitnam Veterans in QLD try to portray the 1% image but as
they are now averageing well over 60 years of age their walking frames are
    softening the image.

How about me turning up on the Cali II at the North Sydney Hilton back in
'84. I was wearing waxed cotton, it was bucketing down. I was dripping water
all over the lobby. Hi, I'm Theo bekkers, I'm booked in for three weeks, my
luggage should have arrived yesterday. Certainly sir, could we ask you to
park your vehicle yourself, we don't have anyone qualified. The porter will
carry those panniers to your room for you.
