NSW: pink ribbon ride

    Reports are it went very well. Much money raised and the organisation
    of it was highly praised.

    No idea if there was any publicity as I'm one of those menaces to
    society who don't watch TV or listen to radio (except RN podcasts and
    BBC7)

    Off topic but somehow relevant - just back from the Snowy ride. Yeah I
    know it isn't popular in some quarters, but it excels as a fund raiser
    for research into childhood cancer.
    Perfect weather this time. 3250 bikes attended, no accidents or police
    incidents.
    I'm impressed, and I wonder what it doesn't get more publicity.

    True, but I guess I'm thinking publicity outside of bike circles.
    Whatever... it's an impressive event - one of many I'm sure.
