NSW: Paid holiday

  1. well, you do have to work some, and it's not much money, but you get
    to watch the Bathurst races!

If you have thought the MCC is doing a good job, then now's your
    chance to support them.

MCC of NSW needs 6 sensible people to variously walk, run and ride
    quads
from 30 Sept to 9 October in Bathurst.

These are semi-skilled positions. If you can ride, breathe and speak,
that's enough for us to work with.

Duties are to conduct campers to their camp sites on the Mountain at
the Bathurst car races, then stand back under shelter and leave them
to it. No security role at all, just making sure that the site is the
right one and the right people are on the right site. There's a lot of
sites. We have maps and charts of who's who.

MCC of NSW provides a $50 a day meal allowance. Accommodation is camping
or caravan - BYO and join in the festive atmosphere with other riders
working to generate income for the MCC of NSW. Watch the racing in your
times off-shift in the rotating schedule - everyone gets one 'orrid shift
and plenty of good ones. Round up a group of mates and enjoy a week
away for a memorable experience. Bring your camera for great memories.

This is a fundamental volunteering position and generally sought after,
but this year you've all gone soft and want a nice comfy 5 star hotel
    on the coast.

Without these 6 volunteers we will not be able to renew the contract
as we will not be able to get the job done. This income allows the MCC
to function, by paying for telephones, printing, webthingys and stuff.
Nobody in MCC gets paid for this, neither will you, but you won't
    go hungry.

THIS IS DIRE, WE NEED HELP.

Please call Ray on the MCC mobile 0417 664 331

As it says, no security role. If they get cantankerous you walk away.

Or you call on a lady of a certain age who has been running this job
for some years and who has an aura that makes the drunkest revhead
stop what he's doing, shuffle his feet, say "yes Mum, sorry Mum"
and go to bed without supper...
