    ok so am I missing anyone...

    * QBE
    * Swann
    * NRMA

    *Aurora (won't insure those who arent old farts)

    atm it looks like I would have to go with NRMA, cos they are only $100 more than QBE, and at the end I have
    45% No Claim Rating, rather than only 25% with QBE. Then in a year, I go to QBE and I will have 55% No Claim.
    But atm its NRMA with a quote of $2619 (yes that is with 45% no claim) for a 2003 GSX750F.

    more than QBE, and at the end I have
    to QBE and I will have 55% No Claim.

    Glad that you young folk subsidise us old farts ($360 for $10.5k agreed
    value, 2 claims in last 3 years).

    Opps! I was wrong! Thought I'd better check it properly, rather than rely
    on a rapidly-aging memory.

    It's $321 for full replacement value for first 12 months. $350 excess.
    Suffer, kiddies :)

  8. Mmm, who?

    I have two policies, no claims in god knows how long(max no claim), club
    discount etc and paying the following:
    '90 K100RS/sidecar $10,500 agreed, >$600
    '97 R1100R, $10,550 agreed, $448
    (no limitations on riding)

    Yours seems cheap

    I didn't get your post, Al, but them's the figures, except I overstated the
    premium. The BMW was $458, I got a $117 refund swapping to the SV, and
    there was a $20 approx swap fee & adjustment for different levels of cover
    included in the adjustment. Premium is about $321. (and they know about
    all speeding fines, and they know they've paid out on two claims).

    Yeah, probably, but I'd be silly to have the policy anywhere else, wouldn't
    I?
