    G'day all

Read in this month's Cycletorque that they're after volunteer riders with
registered bikes as a solo or with chairs to take the kids at Camp Breakaway
on the central coast of NSW for a ride. It's on Sunday the 19th of October.
I called this Don Wooding this morning and got the good oil off him.
Basically you need to take a copy of your bike's rego and CTP papers (if
it's a solo it needs to have a back rest) and be there at 10.30 AM at Camp
Breakaway at the corner of Highview and Goorama Ave at San Remo to take some
kiddies for a ride. The kids have cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy. The
camp supplies an air force harness to tie the kid to you and the bike and
then you go over a set course with the nurse / caregiver running beside you.
No warp factor 10 Mr Sulu ;-)

If anyone is interested from the Newcastle / Central Coast / Sydney area and
is available on the day, the more the merrier. This sort of thing would give
you a nice warm fuzzy feeling inside I reckon. To sweeten the pot, Don tells
me that you get morning smoko and lunch after the ride supplied by Camp
    Breakaway.

    If you need more info, Don's number is 0411 681 045 or (02) 4369 1088.

    Regards

    Deanie
