(NSW) "BUS ONLY" lanes for Victoria Road

    I first spotted this alarming proposal in April in the ever amusing local
    media.

    The Rail Tram and Bus Union are renewing pressure on RTA to have the lanes
    implemented.

    Subsequently I understand this was misreported back in April (?) and the
    actual intent is to have BUS LANE's (which allow taxis, hire cars and
    MOTORCYCLES)

    It's back in the papers again this week as ...."BUS-ONLY lanes".

    According to the MCC, the proposal is still "Bus Lanes" - Rail, Tram &
    Bus Union vice-pres is talking to the MCC on Monday before the meeting
    with the Minister. The union is fine with Bus Lanes, not Bus Only
    Lanes.
