    (Whilst many recipients of this e-mail will have recently donated. Please
    pass onto family and friends).

    Thank you for your support of the Summer Blood Challenge. With only a week
    to go, the local tally at Parramatta stands at
    Police - 96
    Motorcyclists - 53.

    The recent heatwave however has kept blood donations down (which is really
    not good for any of us).

    To encourage donations, the Blood Service has devised the following tips to
    beat the heat.

    Now Available At The Parramatta Blood Service
    * Undercover parking
    * Airconditioning
    * Magazines / TV
    * Complimentary cold drinks
    * Cool comfortable seats

    So why not come, lie down, and let someone attend to your every need (well
    not every need - infact only one - the desire to help save a life).

    IMPORTANT!! Please ensure you eat a good meal and drink 3-4 glasses of
    orange juice or water in the lead-up to donating.

    Mon...8.30am - 3pm
    Tue...7.30am - 5.30pm
    Wed...7.30am - 4pm
    Thu...11am - 7pm
    Fri...7.30am - 4pm
    1st & 3rd Saturday of the month: 7.30am - 12.30pm

    Your ongoing support is truly appreciated by the thousands of lives saved
    each year!!
