The difference is they potray themselves as something apart from the old
"corrupt" and unrepresentative parties but in reality are no different.
If anything as they tend to be from quite limited stock they're worse.

It's useful shorthand but, as you say, hackneyed. It doesn't stand up to
    close examination either.

I don't mean policies as such, more credo. If, for example, it were a
person expressed desire to deny people life, or the means for life, based
on their race, religion or sex then it would be immoral and impossible to
defend. Irrespective of the specific 'policy' used to achieve these ends.

Life, and by its nature this also means politics, is a series of moral
    decisions. These are absolutes.

Where do /you/ draw the line?

  8. thanks for posting the article - most interesting. I particularly liked
the above example of outright stupidity.

We can only hope these morons get voted out and the voters exercise some
sense. I won't hold my breath though.

Fair does. I was personally happy with having dragged omnipotence out
of my vocabulary bank, I need to work up to these things usually.

They have changed from kicking all foreigners out, to trying to bribe
them to go, surely that is milder?
    Not what I said.

Sorry, you didn't, it was the abuse towards someone who has a different
    view.
Some people who want free speech still do not accept it unless it
agrees with them. (not directed at you by the way)
