Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the

  3. "Stupid ****", was the thought that popped into my head.
I was looking at the rate of passage of the catseyes when his speedo was
reading 120/130ish... no way was that in mph.

I felt slightly seasick from all the wallowing about.
Agreed. The white line would have been whipping around like a fire hose,
    for one thing.

Not for bikes. On a bike it's possible to overtake on many, if not
most, solid white lines perfectly safely. With experience you may find
    this out for yourself.

Where I do agree with you is the on-coming traffic. I aim never to
cause another road-user to have to take any action on my account
(unless they were incorrectly positioned to start with). There were a
couple of occasions when the biker in question failed to do that.

Re speed - no way was that left-hander he took at an indicated 123 a
    123 mph corner.

Best not to try it when being followed by a pair of Gendarmes though. I
hear they are particularly hot on solid white line crossing.

Well of course I heard that from the VCF. No doubt the too much hassle
to do the paperwork with a 'rosbif' rule applied. Your recent Dieppe
excursion (down a one way street ?) was similarly dealt with IIRC.

There seem to be reports of tougher tactics with brit speeders lately
though. Well those they can catch at least.

I got pulled and let off with a warning one time on the Sprint ST
(when over for the Ecclipse) but did get a nicking for doing it in the
car on the road down from Tignes. Cunts knew there's a particular spot
where the white lines are innapropriate and it's perfectly safe to
overtake, and then the knew I wasn't in the least bit bothered by the
pathetic fine they could impose (and their lack of ability to affect
my Swiss licence) so they strung it out, taking nearly half a fucking
    hour to write the ticket.

    Cunts.
