Now that's bloody odd...

A quick inspection of the rear tyre on the ZZR today revealed a bit of a
lack in the tread department. So off to my good friends at Colin Collins
I trot and a new 020 is fitted.

"Your rear brake pads are fucked" they say, which I thought was odd,
'cos I did them not too long ago. Anyway, new set of pads is bought and
a new set of seals to go with it, since they're well overdue.

I removed the rear caliper and noted that one of the pads was worn much
    more than t'other.

When I split the caliper I found that the 'insert' bit for the piston on
the less worn side was missing...

Now, I *must* have done that when I last played with the rear brake. But
I'm fucked if I can figure out how I missed it out and where the
    bastard's gone.

    *Sigh*

Looks like I'm going to have to order a new one. I *really* hope they'll
supply it as a separate part.
