Now it's a *really* Triumph...

It had its first ride on the back of a truck last week, Joe Lucas,
    bless his soul, strikes again.

One month out of warranty and the ignition switch decided to give up
the ghost, if on an intermittent basis. The ignition would die, only
to come back to life after a wriggle on the 'bars.

The local Triumph dealer came good and replaced the ignition switch
free of charge, so I was quite impressed, and even more so, I was
given a showroom bike for the nine days it was off the road, a demo
VTR 750, (thanks to Grub for the warranty, and Rodney for the loaner,
    at Rising Sun Honda)

So despite a small inconvenience, I'm a happy little vegemite. Could
have been much worse, I had been thinking of heading up to the
Tablelands for the weekend, could have been a pain in the backside
    getting it back.

I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned most people die of natural causes.

I think the switchgear (ignition and locks) is ZADI. Also fitted to Beemers I think?

But sounds like maybe a frayed wire somewhere?

I originally thought the problem would have been in the wiring loom,
but apparently not. Going just like a bought one again :)

    VFR750 or VTR1000; I haven't heard of a VTR750 before.

    Whoops, VTR 1000

It was the shame of having to ride a honda :)

utter utter bastards wouldn't give a Triumph :p

(They went and compounded it by giving me a CB900 on the last day)
    Nice bikes though.
