Not to jump on the bandwagon.....

  1. ....of people upping sticks and moving, but after almost 5 years in the
North West my time has come to return to the motherland [1].

I've been a right jammy git and gotten myself headhunted within my own
company, for a job role that's custom made for me and hugely exciting.
[2] Once again I will have a challenge in front of me. There's a pay
rise involved along with some relocation but most importantly for me,
    some future prospects! Hoorah!

Oh, I start 5th Jan, so I guess I'll be down there in a similar
timescale, just gotta sell this place now. When I buy a house I think
I'll be looking at a 30 minute radius of High Wycombe area where office
is, but may well rent for a period first.

** So where're the South Eastern parties and who's in the "happening"
    crowd? **

Oh and err, yeah, go and get yourself a drink and pretend it's from me,
it'll be the last I can consider affording with southern house prices!

[1] That'll be the South East then...
[2] I'd tell you, but you'd be bored in seconds

says the man with an asylum camp :)
Isn't, like everywhere else [1], there a 'good' part of Wycombe?

[1] I had this part at the end and realised my mistake.

There are plenty of nice areas to live, however the bad outweight the

Even with the asylum centre, Bicester is preferable to Wycombe.
The best part of wycombe is the M40, it's the quickest route out of the
    place.

Nah then. I'm not so sure about this. I mean, you might have gone
native. Started wearing odd clothing and keeping unlikely pets. We may
have to have a naturalisation test to ensure that you're fit to return
to polite society. Let's see now...

    1. What is your attitude to fried food?

    (a) I sometimes eat food that has not been fried.
    (b) I eat fried food occasionally
    (c) It's too uncomfortable when I have my colon irrigated

    2. How many pigeons do you own?

    (a) More than one
    (b) None
    (c) One, but it's stuffed with truffles

    3. Do you have a flat cap?

    (a) Yes
    (b) No
    (c) Yes but it's made by Barbour

    Any more?

  15. 4. If your racing whippet is run over, do you;

    (a) Say "Aye canny lass, but thou wer't a grand runner", and
immediately scan 'Whippet Times' for a replacement.
    (b) Shed a tear and force the driver to substitute as whippet until
you can breed a new one.
    (c) Say "Fuckit; it's only a dog."

Of course not..I was expressing delight at your good fortune with your
employment. Of course, having to return to the south and drink shandies
all the time is a negative. [1]
If you can get to the SP next Wednesday for a pre-chrimble drink it
would be nice, otherwise give me a bell when you are round and about.
