    I just paid good money to upgrade some software on my PC.

    I've just paid for and downloaded partition magic version 8 upgrade and
    boot magic version 8 upgrade from the symantec site. They are to upgrade
    the versions I bought a couple of years ago.

    Which were, of course, version 8.

    Bugger.
