Not that I know the man nor the town but I kinda' understood that it was
one of those odd people/places (like whassisname at Long Flat or Alf &

Nah, not particularly..... but after a while I sort of got the drift ---ish.
Must be a generational thing <snigger> amd also has a bit to do with musical
tastes..... I suppose my love of stuff that you blokes would hate, and my
antipathy towards the sort of musical stuff that's come up again and again
in this thread would mean that I will NEVER BLOODY UNDERSTAND YOU
LOT....*sigh* but that's ok...

major hit if only they'd sung it in ENGLISH instead of friggin' German!)

of their funnier sketches)
Is there some other reference to "Seldom", "Seen" or "Dave" that I'm
missing?

Well, yeah, me too, and I've been wondering what happened to the place
but haven't made it to a Cold Flame Rally to find out.

But I've got to admit, if you didn't know the place existed, and what

I remember seeing this 1960's English film by Ken Loach about a young boy
who owned a bird of prey, but grew up to be a recluse who only did his
housework very late at night. I think it was either called 'Kes' or 'Kestral
Man Hoovers in the Dark'.

I was thinking of buying the Z1300. I worked out I'd have to give up
drinking to be able to afford it. Once I gave up drinking I saw how stupid
it would be to buy it.
