Too many variables to back the guy up.

No service detail of the bike after purchase.
No type of bike given ( model, size etc )

    The List goes on.

Does this person really expect that a dealer would strip a second hand bike
and check the joiner on the cam chain?

Would they drop the sump to check the gasket?

How can you tell an oil treatment has been put through the engine and worn
    off?

If they had claimed to have fully reconditioned the motor, he might have a
    gripe.

Sounds to me like "not good enough" is ......

And the dealer is in the wrong how? They've been sold a fucked bike, with
no idea. The only way you could tell anything was wrong is if they got on
their guts and checked the sump bolt, but was is internally or externally
welded into place? Surely it wasn't fixed fully. As far as gasket goo, or a
cam chain link that was stuffed, there's no way to tell. ??

  6. I've read plenty of things on that website that are complete loads of one
    sided bullshit.

As with most things on the internet, take them with a grain of salt.

Much like a neighbour of ours (and I work with him as well) who has been having heaps of problems
with the company that built their house. He has sent heaps of letters to them demanding this and
that be fixed, and threatened to take it to Today Tonight and ACA.

But alot of it is just him being an extremely picky prick. He's shown me the so-called problem
areas, and I just can't see what all the fuss is about.

Someone let gary ralph at loose on an internet
    connection and the result was:
yeah poor bugger...no doubt worked hard to keep his business going, the kids
in school and the missus in fairy lights, sells someone a bike...AND it
makes it out of warranty...THEN gets slandered in the public domain, and
probably cant do anything about it

If you pay 100,000's on a house why not have it perfect, **** it takes
a few months to earn it

I don't see any concern... as far as I have seen, over many months, not good
enough lives right up to its name!
In time, most people would see it as exactly the load of crap it is. Internet
version of commercial current affair TV show.

  11. What surprises me is that these internet goons actually think they are
important. It would probably take just one determined company to shut their
arses down. Id love to see their web statistics - Im betting they dont get
    too much traffic

Opposed to someone speaking the truth about something?
They get plenty of traffic, it's a hugely popular site.
Dr. Fiona Stewart has made many TV appearances exposing arsehole business
owners. If they treat the consumer properly/fairly/honestly they have
    nothing to fear.

Good on her and her website.

"ok well spark and fuel probs have diferent carictorisitics were are you
peoples diagnostic skills work out wich it is first would be a good start is
there drain plugs in the bowls of the carbs now if its got fuel to said
missing cyl carb i presume we know what cyl is not fireing if not when ya
first start bike see which exh head is hot which is cold this can tell you
alot about the fault to start with like if the cyl is fire at all even then
if there is fuel in carb rev engine and see if that cyl fires with throdle
open this brings ya away from idle jet to main jet if it fires then try
seting idle jet mixture befor resorting to pulling carb down . there is a
start anyways dont even know what bike were talking about my 2 bobs worth
    anyways"
