    Real men don't eat... oh, it's you. Well, that explains that, then.
    I tried to save a whale once, but I couldn't find a jar big enough to
    pickle it in.

  5. Do you program in Pascal as well?

  6. I think you mean

    Uses crt;

    Begin
    clrscr();
    Writeln('**** off Grainger!');
    if Grainger := 'Fucked Off' then
    ShutDoor();
    else
    writeln('I told you to **** off!');
    end;
    end.

    but I could be wrong.

    Whilst we are here, does do (or anyone else) want
    a big box of manuals and disks for Borland's Object Orientated
    Pascal before I stick the lot on ebay?

    No, I think you're more correct than I, but it has been a long long time
    since I programmed in Pascal.

    However, I made one mistake you didn't correct, but which I spotted after
    I'd posted ...

    The IF statement should use = rather :=, as the former is used for comparing
    values, whereas the latter is used for assigning values.

    Oh, you also corrected two mistakes that I didn't make ... neither the
    ShutDoor() nor the 2nd writeln need semi-colons after them, because they are
    not the end of the statement.

    If you think about it, the entire statement could be written as a single
    line, thus :

    If Grainger='Fucked Off' then ShutDoor() else Writeln('I told you to ****
    off!');

    So while it is good practice to use the semi-colons it is not neccessary.
    Hell no.
