    Specifically
    a 7lb 6oz baby boy,
    name: Joseph Lee,
    born on his Mum's birthday by c-section at 10:52am.

    Mum and baby are well, I'm so delighted I just had to make the
    announcement!

    Thanks for all your kind words and the congrats. Alison's will be coming
    home on Monday (all being well) so that's when the hard work really starts.

    Alison had a C-section before for failure to progress in labour last time
    round. Joe was much bigger and there were few other health related
    complications so a C-section was the safest option, really.

    Nowt to do with sticks and buckets or such feelings... My sister-in-law
    goes by the (nick)name "baggyfanny" - hers kids seemed to just drop out. I
    couldn't possibly comment.
