Unfortunately they don't simply bolt onto 500s - they require a
modification to the 500 frame. It can be done but it's a biggish job,
also the 350 mounting frames and panniers boxes are fairly rare and
    sought after.

    That's the plan!

    They all look like that.

Having said that it could do with introducing to a prison cell and a fire
    hose.

  4. Knobblies? They wont get you very far on the road. They'll be bald after
100 miles. Watch you don't get stopped for illegal tyres. But at least
    you know why it's weaving.

Still posting uninformed shit then? Those knobblies are actually the
same ones as the Swedish army use on their bikes and are designed for
    ice/snow and very cold temperatures.

  6. Talking about uninformed shit, Good morning Mr Bonwick :) I'm sure they
will be fine on ice/snow and very cold temperatures. If there's anything
left of them by the time you get to see ice/Snow and very cold
temperatures if you see what I mean. Have a good trip everyone.

I've already put 1100 miles on mine and they're still ok - Given what
they say on the MT forum I expect to get at least 5000 out of it.

  8. Cool. I was wondering? My knobblies fly to pieces when you belt them on
the road. You loose all the sharp edges and the off road grip is
reduced. Have a good trip. I'm off to Norway myself in July.

  9. Is the right attitude.

**** the naysayers, you lot go off and enjoy yourselves and leave the rest
of us here in the warm and dry waiting for the chance to comfort the
    grieving widows.
