    I found my waterbottle much more powerful but the commando did corner in
    between breakdowns

    I'd wager than none of the buyers of these machines had any intention of
    actually *riding* it.

    Here's an interesting thought: In the story they only had 1 of the crates
    opened. Do you reckon any of these collectors would be so intent on "not
    opening the original packaging" that they still don't know exactly what
    they've bought? :)

    To be fair, it *had* been updated with what the Nortons fetched at auction
    ($21,000-$23,000, don't know if that's USD or AUD though).

    Must admit, wondered what they went for. Lusted after a Mark IIa when
    they were still readily available.

    I can understand $21,000 to $23,000 for a mint un opened Norton, I might
    even be tempted to pay that myself.

    I think the guy who paid $12,000 for one of those horrible, bland faux
    Matchless (rotax engine) singles got ripped off though. They were a bad
    bike when they were new!
