Northern thing, next weekend

I've just sent an email to everyone who I was fairly sure is intending
to turn up next weekend in Newcastle.

If you didn't get it, and you think you should have done, you've
obviously failed to make me believe that you'd be attending, in which
case let me know, BY *EMAIL*, and I'll see what I can do.

I've got better things to do with my life than chase up everyone who
said "oooh, I might be up for that" and then is never heard from again.

Ah, isn't DFV-ing marvellous...

 

TalkTalk are currently "upgrading" their email facilities; hopefully
this involves making them work properly for a change. As a result I
can neither send nor receive email for a day or so, and I don't have
an alternative set up, maybe I should sort something out, but in the
meantime I'm just confirming my attendance.

That should scare them off...

 

I'm not coming, but to add to the fun of winding up the DFV, which
Newcastle is it?

 

The one that shouldn't be hyphenated.
