North Wales Police at it again

What if you used heroin whilst on holiday in a country where its use is
legal? What if you had previously had a shot of heroin prescribed
because of the acute pain your heart attack was causing? Heroin is
dished out far more often than many people are aware, usually to people
who are unaware that's what it is.

It's like banning cat owners, people who use ladders, or, more
seriously, motorcyclists (because they are more likely to have an
accident and therefore have time off work).

No smoking whilst working, fair enough. No smoking whilst on work
premises, fair enough. Help for smokers who want to give up, great! But
no smoking whilst at home off duty - they're taking the piss and I hope
the federation sorts it out, in court if necessary.

I suppose you could have given up "this morning" though, just prior to
the application. When I asked one chap if he smoked, he said "No". I
asked him when he gave up and it turned out he had his last one "at the
bus stop on the way here".

 

Wooden hurt.

 

I can't remember whether more women than men smoke or vice versa, but either
way, it's sexual discrimination.
