Weather was wet and very windy most of the time, I was eaten alive by
mosquitoes, and we slept in our leathers one night as it was so cold.
However we had a brilliant time, visited old friends and made some new
    ones (unusual for us)

I did make the mistake of trying to engage an XS650 Yam owner in idle
chit-chat during a wind blown stop on the way to Odense while we put
waterproofs on, it transpired that he and his 40 or so friends that
appeared just as I walked up to him were some very anti-social type
German motorcycle chappies called the 'Wolverines' (yawn)

It made Christel laugh if nothing else.

    Next year is Nordkapp

Somewhere very North in Norway, we had so much fun on the Daytona, and
it is very strange to do over 1000 miles with a woman on the back who
just laughs and says we need to a longer trip next time! - we wanted
something unusual so chose Nordkapp - it is Arctic circle territory in
just a little north of Murmansk, and it gives me an excuse to get yet
another bike (see why I married her!)

    Wanna come?

  12. I suspect that as Dave is Andy's brother he'd prefer Andy to be there
rather than me. However, if I decide I'm going then Andy would
    possibly say yes.

The only alternative for such a trip has got to be an Aprilia.

Actually I would prefer you to be there (in the nicest way possible)
and I am sure he would follow if he could take the time out.

    It would be good.

I was thinking of a BMW adventurer thingy, maybe a couple of years
old, it needs to take me, loads of kit and a wide seat for a new wife
who has a sense of humor and is ok about wheelie's as long as she is
warned first - her words after I 'inadvertently clutched the bike up
in second on the way back from the church

drugs began to take hold. I remember Adrienne M Jenn

    Wheelies, eh? Well you won't be wanting a BMW: it's a shaft-drive, don't
    you know.

Big, big comfy pillion seat on the Tiger.
