I just got an indian mobile sales centre to hang up. Good innit?

Burd rings up and starts her spiel and I decide that rather than
interrupt and be abusive or hang up and not bother that I would hear the
hook through and then tell her I was not interested.

She starts giving me facts about me that are frankly wrong, so I start
querying them and pointing out her errors and suggesting that she should
have a word with whoever compiles her data as she really is calling the
wrong prospect.

It continued awhile and although none flowed hers, information flowed my
way. It is currently sunny but not too warm in her part of India at the
moment for example.

She eventually wangled her way back onto script and started telling me
this deal:- Free nokia 6xxx mobile, 800 toll free minutes (to
*anywhere*) 500 texts, 25 minutes video and other stuff, all for £17.50
a month. I have no idea of the market but this sounded cheap so I
listened and paid attention.

She said something that sounded like a company name and I thought I
would put into google just to make sure they were kosher and if so offer
it to you anoraks for a comparative ask in the next phone thread.
Google didn't give any meaningful matches so I told her and asked her
for one and she tells me to hang on and hands to over to her supervisor.

Gary tells me to type in wwwe.3.co.uk which gets me to 3 network, which
is not what I want nor is it what he was expecting and some confusion
entails as he tries to get me to wherever it is I want to go and a lack
of his understanding of dialect becomes apparent at which point he hangs
up.

I wasn't actually trying to get him to hang up. I was, by then,
genuinely interested hearing about his product, if only for the purposes
of reinforcing my assertion that I was not a part of his demographic.

No I am not and this was one point I tried ever so hard to establish
