I've already got #15, you bleedin' Alzheimist. I'll have a bar to it,
shall I ... or perhaps that should be a spar ...

... I just looked at the bit of timber - 3"x3", rotten in the
middle but sound at the ends. It wouldn't fit on the trailer, so I
laid it down across the trailer and gave it a sound kick to achieve
snappage. It went first kick (not a KH, then) as it was, indeed, as
rotten as a pear in the centre.

Sadly, it was sound at the ends - so as it snapped the longer piece
dropped horizontally, the shorter piece that was over the trailer
(about 5 feet long) sprang up and launched into the bridge of my nose,
pretty much end-on. Stars, moons, blue tweety birds - the full works.
Oh, and blud - lots of blud.[/QUOTE]

    LOL

Did you ever get the award for your LC story? If not, I think TOG
should reconsider, cos what happened to you was hilarious.

TOG didn't allow that one, but I got it for something else. I can't
remember which one though, there have been several incidents of
stupidity that have resulted in me being seriously injured.

  10. Got your arm stuck in Waxoyl, according to my records. I can't remember
    the details, though.

Ah, the Jaguar XJ40 sunroof fitting incident. I remember now.

I still have the injuries from that one.

I think we all know that if you decided to get feisty with a rolling
pin, a broken nose would be the least of his worries.

Unless he banged it on the headboard, of course...
