Has anyone here been nicked for having a non road legal can? If So what did
you get, I have just put a Scorpion race can on my 1200 Bandit and am
concerned that it's a bit, well, conspicuous IYSWIM

I think the last time I got pulled it was an indirect result of that, as he
was in front of me then stopped and let me pass then pulled me. However
saying that he never mentioned it when he pulled me and just moaned about
the small plate. Ah well never mind all he did was lecture me.

I reached the attention of a bike plod at Old Street roundabout last
summer, and the conversation went along the lines of...

"That's rather loud"
"Er, yeah. It's legal, honest"
"Couldn't give a shit mate. Sounds great. Want a race?"

....whereafter he duly fucked off into the distance.

That said, I've just had the race can taken off my 7R (hence sig)
and the stock can put back on. For now. Time for a bit of stealth
speeding for the spring.
