I just had a 12,000km service on the ZZR250 and I started riding it home and
gave it a bit, and this strange noise from around the carbs, fuel tank
region...it only makes a noise when you take it to or above 7000-8000rpm,
also the idle is all over the place, sometimes 1100, sometimes 1600??? any
clue...( the service included carb balancing and what not aswell...)

Any help would be great, cheers

    REgards,

    Chris B.

Take it back to where you got it serviced and tell them to get it
right this time. I thought that'd be pretty obvious.

Without further description of the strange noise, there's not much
    else we can do ...

And you kept riding it home?

    Take it back.

  5. Try lifting the tank, some times the support rod for the tank is not seated
properly and can vibrate, happened to the CBR after a service.
