Noise from rear wheel

    Hi,

After replaced the rear tyre (external) of my GZ125 Suzuki marauder, noise
is coming out from the rear wheel. The mechanic checked and found the spring
of the rear brake is rubbing against the wheel internally.

He told me to change the rear brake and try to see if this can eliminate the
noise (ie prevent the rubbing). When I asked whether the brake has worn off,
he told me not. I think that is why he said "try" to solve the problem by
    changing the rear brake.

Correct me if I'm wrong that if the brake is not worn off, there should not
be a difference to a new brake. If so, is there other possibility that cause
    the problem?

    Thanks in advance,
    YC

Discovered the noise few days later after the tire changed. A different
mechanic in the same shop inspected the brake.
