Well, it would be extreme to allow that mantra to dictate that
situation. I suppose the answer would be that if it was an accident,
there's nothing to apologise for, since it wasn't a deliberate act.

    he surely was.
    I imagine not.

Incidentally, unlikely looking people on old Moto Guzzis sometimes ride
extremely fucking fast, as I discovered to my embarassment and (almost)
demise when trying to follow one along the A507 last w/e.

Yes, but that doesn't really cover all eventualities, does it. Have
you never behaved badly, and then wished you hadn't? Have you never
done something, that with hindsight, you wish you hadn't? Shaw
himself was "linked" with a number of other women, despite being
married, so he ought to have understood that to err is human.

a bit out of Swellers manor, but he fits the bill otherwise.

I read that as 'soon to be pregnant'. Careful how you go.

Referring to a previous topic, I would imagine that Tom Cruise was put
on a GPzxxx in Top Gun precisely I can't offer any real authority on the
    subject thoug

I think I've identified the problem with many of my plans. I stick to
    them when I've sobered up.

It's still in the box, in my mate's garage. We haven't even managed step 1
of moving it to Eddie's garage.

AFAIR the plan was to service the GT750 and then start on PDiaB.

Unfortunately once the GT was done my bike needed some work, so that came
next. Then Clare's GSX-F needed to be fettled for its MOT. Then the Flaco
spat its chain off and needed to be fixed.

After that we were about ready to go, but Mick (who owns the H1) decided
that, as he'd got a brand new ZX-636 for his birthday, he'd rather do up his
ancient CBR6 and then sell that to fund the H1 project, so said CBR6 was
    moved to Eddie's garage.

Eddie, Mick and I (in about that order of ability/involvement) got the
brakes sorted on the CBR6 and then it fell into Mick's black hole of
abandoned projects. All we need to do is tart up some of the bodywork and
then give the whole thing a clean, but Eddie and I are a bit reluctant to do
that if Mick isn't going to bother helping out.

So, there you have it. Eddie's had an '89 CBR sitting in his garage for a
year with the bodywork off and nobody touching it, other than to rest stuff
on the pillion seat and that has to be done before we even think about
    starting on the H1.

Well, one-word labels are not really enough to get any real handle on
the meaning. What book is this from?
    Pssssh. Call that fucked up?

  13. It's virtually compulsory here (in southern Spain). Nowt to do with
bikes though. And a slap on the back doesn't mean someone's picking a
    fight. Weird.
