I'm heading off to Adelaide for the second weekend in a row, at 6am
    tomorrow morning.

Unfortunately I'm riding pillion in a pressurised aluminium tube,
    behind a bloke named "Captain".

I also probably won't have time to catch up with any of our Adelaidian
aus.moto comrades, since I'm there for work.

They originally wanted me to be in Adelaide last weekend, Darwin this
one, Townsville in a fortnight and Brisbane the week after that. I
was all excited about it until the buggers said that I couldn't ride
    it. :-(

In the end I didn't actually get the nod for Darwin, although I might
go there on my way to the Off-Centre rally next year. Its pretty much
a straight line from Canberra to Darwin to Innamincka, eh? ;-)

I've got a 4-day weekend around Brissy in about 3 weeks.
Unfortunately all that time will be used up installing PC's in our
regional offices in Toowomba, Southport, Tweed and Maroochydore
    though.

Oh well, there's always next time!

That hardly satisfies the definition of 'weekend'.
    Applying Windows patches?

    Glorious again!)

Much worse - shifting people from Win95 workstations to a mix of
Citrix thin client "toasters" and Win2000 boxen. Bleah! :p
