    Yes. I rode up, and when I got there I realised I could just about
    balance the bike on tip-toe. *If* I turned my toes inwards. This made
    getting off, without ending up underneath 410kg of GoldWing, a tricky
    process.

    Putting it onto the centre-stand is no picnic, either.

    "A friend" did exactly that on one of mine recently...

    Drain oil, fit new exhaust, start up and let exhaust go set...

    Then, after about a minute of idling, remember what's missing from the
    sequence.

    There's a little tinkle from the top end now, probably a small end bearing.
