What? That would have been extremely cool.

Double top-secret cool if you had the Liberator to go with it.

  6. MSX2 I think - Sony HB-F5.
    A1200's rocked.
    Master System? Game Gear?

You only need an X-box to complete the current generation. Grab a crystal
    one.

  7. Nonesense, there were some great games for the Electron.

Mostly BBC ports admittedly, but still....

I really still do remember the halcyon Amiga years with great
    fondness.
    don't know - it's my Stepson's - I don't think it's been plugged in
since I've been on the scene. He still uses the Megadrive very
    occasionally.
I don't see the advantage over the PS2, TBH. I'll hang on and see
which is the better out of X-box2 and PS3...

    [Dragon32]
it probably performs[0] better than the Solaris/Sybase shit[1] I have
    to use.

[0] benchmarked it last year against XP/MS SQL 2000 - the Microsoft
solution was 10-15 times faster for our application[1]
[1] to be "fair" the problem is with the Macromedia ColdFusion Sybase
    drivers. And the French.

So, what's it for you then, sir? The one where you're her prisoner and she
"tortures" you or the one where you have to "punish" her for being so evil?

the latter, natch. In a strangely-luxurious makeshift torture chamber,
incongruously located in the middle of a quarry.

  16. Mid to late next year at the earliest is the current rumour.

Expect strong showings from all major platform holders at next year's E3.
