Should have listned, but i never do, that kmx wasn't a shed, it was worse than a shed.. erm, what ever that is, lesson learnt, photo's can make a pile of shit look like a diamond, He never did tell me why it had no ignition barrel, but it also had a lot of other wires torn off, looks like someone had started turning it into a field bike, then gave up, Fuel tank had an inexplicable big dent right where the riders balls would be.. maybe he tried doing a stoppie, and slammed against the tank or something, but when i sat on it i found out the tank wasnt ever secured, no way to do it as with no key they couldent get the seat open to get under it, I already knew there were parts missing, simple things like the hand guards, mirrors, rear lights, brake covers and so on, but i didn't expect the kips linkage to be missing too, the actuator rod was there, but no rod through the barrel or owt, pretty obviouse it was missing even to a non mechanical guy, the hole in the barrel side gave it away. tyres were totaly bald.. front one cracked, prolly the origional one, he said it had a new piston and rings not long ago, but who ever did that didn't know owt about engines, So we're back to looking for a crosser style bike, i'm thinking it'd be better to look for a bigger one.. say a kmx 200.. but they seem even harder to find, but when they do come up, they're likely to be better looked after?? better than a learners bike anyway. tried asking in the bike shops in and around hull, no one knew of any, one finaly said that stype of bike is not recomended round hull way, as soon as someone buys one it gets nicked, mental not to self.. never think of moving to hull.. not that i ever did mind :)
