Well.....as things turn out, I had a sporting accident over the
    weekend (not on the bike).

I broke my patella (kneecap) on my left leg and severely sprained my
right ankle. I've got a temporary cast on the right leg and full
length leg brace on the left.....so I can't even hardly get around on
    crutches. :-(

I may have to have surgery, but won't know more until I see a surgeon
    on Wed.

So.....no riding for me for a while. At least it might be cool again
once I can get back on the bike. ;-)

    Take care!

Sorry, but you would have to take a number.....I've already got quite
a few people offering their assistance with keeping the bike in good
    running condition!

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes! I was reviewing my x-rays
with my g/f (a physical therapist and wound specialist) and based on
the radiologist's report and the look at the pictures, we aren't so
sure that I broke my kneecap after all.

There is definitely separation of the kneecap, but it looks like I was
born that way as it is perfectly aligned and there are no rough edges.
Heck, it doesn't even hurt on top of my knee and there is virtually no
swelling. So that part may be OK...... but, we are betting there is
some internal injuries, such as torn or sprained ligaments.

I'm hoping I don't have to have surgery and will be back on the bike
    soon!

    Ride safe, everyone!

    LOL
    good point!!

I'm actually more like 3/4-State since it's from my knees down that is
    hosed right now.

You might have to change your name.Halfstate or partialstate might work for
a while till you get back to the "Fullstate" position again.
