"The proposed ban would apply to wearing the burqa in the street, and in
trains, schools, buses and law courts in the Netherlands"

    nicely followed by;

"Other forms of face coverings, such as crash helmets with visors that
obscure the face, would also be covered by a legal ban"

Which presumably would include balaclavas and flip down sunvisors as
well. Wtf cares if a raghead wants to go around looking like a clanger
on steroids? Look forward to Tony "That looks like a good idea" Blair
implementing this one. <thinks> He's done it allready hasn't he?

You know, it's all very ironic. Bin Laden has gone a long way in
destroying the credibility of Islam in the west, which I'm very sure
    wasn't his original goal.

How many "ragheads" do you see on a day-to-day basis?

Well, till two months ago I worked with one who wore the Hijab, looked a
bit odd in the summer, but you'd not really notice in the winter. 'Part
from that, on the streets, every day I reckon. The fullon Niqab not so
often, a few around here, and a Burqa, never.

Saw a funny thing a couple of weeks ago. Muslim couple walking down the
street with the wifey the obligatory two paces behind. I wondered how
they ever had a conversation without matey boy getting a crick in his
    neck. Oh well.

Well, given she was all veiled up, I guess they were taking a
constitutional. It was an unseasonaly warm sunny evening. That was
really my point, it wasn't like they were doing 'business', they were
out for a stroll and chat.

  7. The interesting thing is that the origin of this is not placing women in a
secondary position - albeit some use it in this way now. It was so that she
would be protected and behind someone in the event of attack. Bit like the
gentlemanly courtesy of the fellow always walking on the road side of the
    pavement.

So who was home doing the cooking and the ironing then? No fucking
standards these people and they have the fucking cheek to come over here
and tell us we need to accept them and their fucking ways? Well ****
off Abdul is all I can say, we like our wimmin properly domesticated and
the dykes can have the freedoms. Allowed out on the streets, ffs!!!

That's as maybe, but it still looks like it makes conversation
diffilcult. I thought the road side of the pavement was if he was
caught short and fancied a quick piss, he only had to turn right.

Ahhh well, Boogie Nights calls, back in a bit.

I suppose the cooking and ironing were all done and an evening stroll
was called for. For all I know they were off for a beer and a game of
poker. Never play poker with muslim women, you can never get a read on
    their faces.

  16. "An estimated 6% of 16 million people living in the Netherlands are Muslims.

But there are thought to be fewer than 100 women who choose to wear the
burqa, a traditional Islamic form of dress."

So what brought about this over-reaction?
