No excuses

This morning I treated the GFR to a long overdue change of brake fluid
and took it out to take some more of the shine off the new Pirelli
    Diablos.

A bit of a gusty day for a very light bike with a full fairing but the
envelope could be explored. One limiting factor was just spotting a
camera van on a NSL straight just in time.

It's going well. Hitting the two stroke revs wall, but not until the red
    line, so that's OK then.

So no excuses for not going to Cadwell next week, unless Champ's weather
    god status goes awry.

You just know it will end in tears somewhere.

Prace bets now, I have 10p on a two stroke blow up ( Sorry Pete)

    In communiqué
That certainly can't be ruled out. This is the GFR#2 which I managed to
seize not long after purchase as the previous owner must have thought
coolant was too expensive to use the correct amount. GFR#1 has 40,000
Kms on the clock and has never nipped up on me despite Cadwell
    provocation.

It gave me a moment today actually. Another petrol muppet moment. I was
half expecting it to run out of juice, but the candle went out extremely
suddenly with no preliminary stutters. Fortunately it wasn't at too
inopportune a moment and switching to reserve saved the day. I must
ensure it is always topped up at Cadwell to avoid being taken roughly
    from behind.

I'll try and work out the most likely place to catch you on a trailing
throttle then stand and wait to see the big moment.

I received an email from Russell telling me I can now play with the
big boys in the fast group so there's no chance of us being on track
together unless I borrow something dog slow and persuade him I'll not
    misbehave.

As the 'tart' is in disgrace I could theoretically bring both GFRs,
which would cover the dog slow bit. It's currently in the shed, however,
wedged under boxes full of old Morini parts and spare YZ wheels. If I
can summon up the necessary tuits I might get the lad to help me dig it
out this weekend. The tyres on that should be nice and rock-like by now,
so that would curb your enthusiasm.

End of Park or bottom of Mansfield. DAMHIKIJDOK.
I shall be sneaking out in slow or middle groups at some point to run
in the KR1s and CR (assuming noise legality).

Maybe on the R6 too if I can't remember how to go round corners. :-/
