Nitromethane and petrol mix

    Has anyone tried mixing nitromethane with petrol when running their bikes on
    the track?

    Was rejetting necessary? Was there are noticable gain in power?

    Yep.... they wont idle... the rev like hell.... my RM250 lasted about 5
    mins with about 1 cup of methanol to (about) 1/2 a tank of normal 2 stroke
    and about 5 capfulls of Nitro. Was fun while it lasted :)

    was the methanol to make the nitro mix with the petrol?

    No... the methanol was because I had some !!! I had a heap from model car
    days "Glow fuel". It was cheaper to buy bottles of each and mix your own. I
    still have some Nitro left !! not sure of shelf life tho... Hmmm.. wheres
    my QA50....
