Tonight I fitted a stainless steel oval Quill T3 can to the Gixxer. It
    now looks and sounds lovely.

Next job is to get the wheels painted gloss black by Pip's mate, when
    these 014s are knackered.

Nice. Fancy a yoshi myself but I've blown all my spuds on the bike.
Which won't be very long at all if the rear on mines anything to go
by. Time to buy shares in bridgestone.

Heheh. Perhaps I phrased that rather badly. Although I would be quite
happy to blow my spuds on the bike (it's sexier than a sheep after
all) what I really meant to say was "I now have no spare cash
    whatsoever".

    Better?

    My rim is nicely lubricated.

Excellent! Does it do much for the performance? I know my Bandit's
throttle response is sharper, and there's a good kick in the back at
    around 5000 revs with a T3 fitted.

P.S. Did you get the stuff you ordered okay?

I've been in that London today, on the bike. I haven't really had a
chance to assess power differences with thousands of mad car drivers
around me. I did get a nice wheelie off the hump on the road out of
Flitwick on my way home though, but the bike does that there anyway. A
few years ago I'd have shit my pants at a 95mph wheelie, but they seem
    so commonplace nowadays.
There's a box here, but I haven't opened it yet. Thanks.

Haven't got any of my bike with the can fitted yet, but there's a pic
of a K3 with a Quill full system here:

    http://www.jbracing.co.uk/quill.cfm

Right side of the page under the Suzuki section.

I like the quality of the Quill T3 cans, they knock the likes of
Scorpion and Micron into a cocked hat. Another major advantage is the
power gain without the extra noise of a race can until you're really
going for it. Around town and in quickish mode they are quite quiet.
All for around half the price of an Akrapovic can.
