I take objection to the word extremely - it was black in it's defense.

The pisser is having just spent some money on it to replace the rear
shock, front bearings and forks with a view to selling it shortly.

But not brown and brown which does qualify for extreme type rating.

Anyways only the CBR fairing decals could be construed as brown, and
only then if you had brown tinted glasses on.

  4. ****. It's never, ever "just a bike". Ever.

I had a car stolen for the first time in Peterboro a few years back
and it's not the same. Not by a long way.

It doesn't make sense but i'd rather have it back in bits, than gone
    forever iyswim.

No worries, you should have my number but email me
if not. You can have a key to the garage and use it
as you please for however long you need it.

    Bastards.

Of more use than the reg. would be the exact colour (OK, black and
brown but stock or what?), exact model, distinguishing features (tyre
make & wear, aftermarket bits...) etc. If it's just a thief nicking it
for himself (and they do exist) he may have simply bodged on another
reg. plate. Happened to a bike belonging to a mate of mine years ago.

Long shot, I know, but maybe worth a try.

    It;'s a 1999 FY with 30+K.

Well here's a pic - it's pretty standard apart from hugger, Micron
oval can and black screen - a closer inspection will reveal a Hagon
    rear shock.

Yup, the two old blokes are right.

"Strike down with great vengeance and furious anger" is an entirely
understandable reaction, 'cos it's not "only" a bike.

No, we do it properly. We have the trial all fair and proper like and
    then we hang them.
